Uncle Hap and Auntie Paula came to visit!!

Uncle Hap, Auntie Paula, and cousins Ben and Amelia drove all the way down to Salinas from Crockett to visit Charlotte in the hospital. They brought 2 little pink crates full of gifts. Some of them were even hand-made for Charli by Amelia and Ben. What good cousins they already are!
We were touched that they made the long drive for us.

She's finally here!

I was admitted to the hospital Thursday, December 21st at 8:00 to be induced. As you can see from the photo below, I was pretty excited to get things going. .......



What a silly girl. If only there was a photo of me 22 hours later. ....:) At 6:00 on Friday morning they decided to do a c-section. So Our Charlotte Rebecca Keely was born at 7:02 AM, December 21st.

She was a healthy 8 lbs, 5 ozs, and 20 inches in length. Daddy got to meet her before I did (as is usually the case with c-sections) and you can see he is already smitten!

Just a few more photos of Charlotte in the hospital. The nurses gave all the babies these cute santa caps.

I tried to get a few with her eyes open. This is about as good as it gets. She slept alot these days!

Today is the big day!

So I am finally being induced today at 10:45. They will not be using the more aggressive tools though, so it may still be a day or so before we get to meet little sweet pea. I'm just so relieved SOMETHING is happening!

You may be wondering how big I've gotten as I am over a week late........

Just kidding! But this is sure how I feel these days.
